Vote YES on Measure G to protect Marysville’s Police and Fire Departments from drastic cuts while continuing to repave and repair our roads and potholes without raising our tax rate.
Measure G does NOT raise Marysville’s tax rate - it stays exactly as it is.
Measure G is supported by the Marysville Police Officer’s Association and the Marysville Fireman’s Association.
Before Marysville’s voters passed Measure C our one-cent tax measure in 2016, our Police Department struggled to maintain a full force, and our Fire Department was not safely staffed. Crime was on the rise.
Since 2016, crime in Marysville has been down by over 20%.
Measure C expires next year. Measure G will renew it.
Measure G is crucial for sustaining Marysville’s low crime rates.
Measure G allows for neighborhood police patrols and supports vital crime prevention programs that secure our streets and families.
Measure G is also pivotal as we repave, repair and maintain our local roads and streets,
addressing longstanding infrastructure needs.
Politicians in Sacramento cannot take a penny of Measure G funds by law.
Measure G will have an Oversight Committee to conduct annual audits to ensure that
Measure G funds are used as promised.
With the investment of Measure G, Marysville will continue to:
Maintain Police Officer’s staffing.
Protect ne1ghborhood patrols.
Reduce 911 response times.
Measure G will include fiscal accountability requirements, including:
